 Update and probably boring too.

Well last time I posted my baby girl was born well she is now 21 months old. Time flies! I still love being a mom! It has been very busy though. I don't think much has changed since my last blog. Well the remodeling is done. It looks great! I am still teaching at a public high school as a special ed. teacher. My two oldest daughters are 10yrs. and 6yrs. and are taking aikido. They love it as so do I. Sweetie Pie is taking classes too and I hope to join in when the baby gets a little older.

It seems so odd but as I am typing what has been going on it looks relatively boring to probably most people. However, I love it! My youngest putting on my shoes and trying to walk around in them. My oldest startin to get a little teenage attitude ~ I am not cool but then I need my "mommy time" still~. Then my middle one who has such insight on things that it is funny and serious at the same time. Well that is just life. Things go on and stuff happens and for me it's great! Nothing big, exciting or wild just life.
Well that's it.

 For now

I am posting a blog for today right now. I wish I could say that I would more often but life is busy. We have been working on our house~ remodeling the kitchen, reworking the yard completely! Adding more fence and redoing the bathroom. I love it and hate it at the same time. It takes a lot of work and money even if we are saving a lot doing it ourselves but I love that I am a visual person and can see the final results even before getting started. I am especially looking forward to the yard since we are adding on a deck, fencing, lighting, water feature and pergalo. The weather is nice here right now and I love hot weather. It is going to be beautiful! I am planning a party just not sure if I should do it this year or wait til next. I might just want to wait until next year so I can just enjoy the yard myself this summer.

I have also been on some committees. I am not sure how that happened but I know that God has led me to where I am and right now I am not sure it should be stopping. I am the secretary on the board of trustees for Project Hope. Project Hope is a homeless shelter (http://projecthopeonline.org/). I LOVE being a part of it. They have really made a difference in peoples lives. It's not one of those places that they give out food or just let people stay one day and leave the next. It is one of those places that homeless people go to if the REALLY WANT HELP. They have to go to their meetings, stay clean, and have other behaviors that are expected of them to stay there. It has really helped people get back on their feet. In case many of you don't know right now there are a lot of FAMILIES that are becoming increasingly homeless. As a matter of fact we have had some that we had to turn away because of space. Thank GOD we are working on that and may be able to increase our space this next year. Anyway, if you want to make a difference look for your local homeless shelter. It is getting busier with families I am sure.
Blessings to all of you!!

 My life at this time....

I don't know what to even say about my life right now. I feel like I am getting run over. Well I have the baby, she is now 5 months old and doing great! However, this one little addition has just kept me soooooooooo busy!!! I love my girls but it does take on so much more of my time. It really is fun, I just wish I could be a stay at home mom too. Sweetie Pie has finally gotten a full time job and it is going well. He likes it and they really like him. I hope to be able to be a stay at home mom next year or even part time teaching if I can find it. I feel like I am getting plowed over by life right now. It has been hard financially trying to get caught up on things since Sweetie Pie has been off previously for so long. We also just found out that he is Diabetic. I know it isn't the end of the world and it can be controlled by diet but when I was talking to someone he mentioned he just went to a funeral for a guy who was 46 and was a diabetic. Well, Sweetie Pie is 36 and that didn't make me feel good at all. Anyway, he has to lose weight and watch his sugar, which I have been trying to get him to eat healthier for years. This at least gives me the excuse to get him to do it. That's all I have to say right now and I just need prayers for me and my family. Thank you all! Take care!

 I miss my computer!!!

Oh how I miss my computer! I had my own and it crashed. Sweetie Pie had his own and it crashed about a month after mine. He got his working about a day later. Yet mine he still doesn't know what is wrong with it. So finally after about 4 months he finally tells me that we can just get me a new one. What is that about? He is a computer geek. That is his job, he fixes software, hardware and even does programming! Anyway I can't wait! He is out with friends tonight and so I get to be on the computer. I have wanted to blog for awhile.

So what to blog about? My daughters first! I love talking about my girls. They are getting along so well and love the baby. However, my 8 1/2 yr. old who is going on a 30 yr. old. Is starting the rebellion at times. It completely shocked me the first time it happened too. We were at a restaurant and she was basically jumping around. So I asked her to sit down she said "No, I will not." I told here "Yes, you will you are the child and I will give you a smack on the tush and embarrass you here in the restaurant in front of everyone." She sat down no problem. I have to say I completely dread the teenage years. I am a huge reader and everything I have read about girls in there teen years is that they hate their moms. At least I have the advantage of knowing I will have one that likes me at all times. My daughters ages are 8yr., 5 yr., and 4 mo. My thinking is that when my 8yr. old is a teen my 5 yr. old and 4 mo. old will still like me. They will be 10 yr. and 5 yr. by the time my youngest hits the teens, then my oldest will be out of it and we will have a good relationship again. (I hope). Ok, so those of you who have older daughters don't bust my bubble. Let me be in my happy little fantasy world at least for a couple more weeks! Really, I love my daughters but I can't stand the thought that they are just going to want to argue with me all the time. I pray God will help me through it!

 It's a girl!!

Ok, we had the baby and did know it was a girl. She was 2 and a half weeks early but what a weight and length! She weighed 7lbs 11oz. and 19.5 in! She is perfect, although personally I think babies are perfect. It reminds me that God still does miracles. She was born on May 23. I just wanted to share our good news. Sweetie Pie is thrilled! I know he wanted a boy but I tell you he is just wrapped around that little pinkie of our baby. He just loves our girls and being a dad. It is so cute! Our other 2 daughters (ages 8 and 4) are thrilled too! My 4 yr. old wants to help with everything these days right down to wanting to help change a poopy diaper. I feel so blessed and thank God for my family!!
